About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Director – Residential to support the leadership and performance of our VIC & TAS residential valuation team. Working closely with the State Director, you will drive operational excellence, support team development, and deliver high-quality valuation outcomes. This role combines leadership, quality assurance, and hands-on valuation expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Support the State Director with day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives
Lead, mentor and develop valuers across VIC & TAS
Manage workflow, workload distribution and turnaround times
Conduct compliance reviews and co-sign high-value valuation reports
Build and maintain strong client and internal relationships
Ensure adherence to internal policies and quality standards
Complete valuations to a high standard, within required timeframes
Desired Skills and Experience
Desired Skills & Attributes
Strong knowledge of the residential property market across standard, prestige and development assets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and sound judgement
Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel)
5+ years’ experience as a CPV
Essential Skills & Requirements
You hold relevant tertiary qualification and Valuer qualification (CPV) and API membership (This is a non-negotiable due to the property valuation industry’s governing body)
Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
Strong understanding of valuation compliance and risk management
Current driver’s licence
It is a condition of employment that staff are to have a Police Clearance (paid for by the business).
