About the Role

Are you a highly experienced Certified Practising Valuer with a deep knowledge of Sydney's prestige property market? We are seeking an exceptional Senior Valuer to join our team, specialising in the valuation of high-end residential real estate across Sydney.

In this senior role, you will deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality property valuations to a prestigious client base, including major financial institutions. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, lead by example, and provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated valuation professional to advance their career within a supportive and professional environment, with a clear pathway to Associate Director and Director roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate, high-quality valuations of prestige residential properties across Sydney within agreed timeframes.
  • Provide an exceptional level of client service, maintaining strong professional relationships with banks, lenders, and other key stakeholders.
  • Undertake marketing activities to attract and retain clients, conducting market research as required.
  • Maintain the job management database to a high standard, ensuring all field notes, workings, and sales data are accurately stored.
  • Produce comprehensive, professional valuation reports in compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Actively liaise with clients regarding progress and manage delays using the appropriate processes.
  • Undertake Quality Assurance (QA) tasks and contribute to maintaining the firm's professional standards.

Desired Skills and Experience

Desired Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in the valuation of prestige residential real estate in Sydney.
  • Recognition by prestige valuation panels of major banks, including ANZ, Westpac, NAB, and CBA.
  • Strong knowledge of the Sydney prestige property market, including trends, sales, and property types.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume, varied workload while maintaining exceptional quality and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and professional valuation reports.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

Essential Skills

  • You hold a relevant tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g. Property, Valuation, or Commerce).
  • You hold a Valuer qualification (CPV – Certified Practising Valuer) and current API membership — this is a strict requirement governed by the property valuation industry's governing body.
  • You hold a current and valid Australian Driver Licence.
  • Ability to perform property valuations unsupervised and within your established skill set.
  • Ability to maintain all relevant state Valuer registration requirements.
  • Commitment to complying with all company policies, procedures, and professional standards.

 

It is a condition of employment that staff are to have a Police Clearance (paid for by the business).
